A Visit To The Newly Renovated Galveston Island State Park

WOW! This is one Texas State Park that you must now visit! In October of 2022 I found myself tent camping at Galveston Island State Park. 7 years ago this was the very first Texas state park where I pickup the camera, jumped onto the scooter and shot some very lousy footage of the campground. After our visit a hurricane came and washed away the whole beach side of Galveston Island State Park.
After several years and lots of work whole new Galveston Island State Park opened and WOW! What a huge difference! In the past there were very few beach side RV friendly campsites. Now however you have a spacious well laid out RV loop that is truly a pleasure to camp in.
I was blown away by most of the improvements to this now very beautiful Texas State Park. There are 4 Texas state parks on the Texas Gulf Coast and now Galveston Island State Park is “THE” beach side Texas state park to visit. Join me as I explore Galveston Island State Park and uncover all of the cool stuff to see!
