This is one of the jigs that I use most when planing small parts. It is a very simple mix between a bench hook and a shooting board and it makes getting accurate right angles super easy.
If you have a plane you have to have one of these! I made it with very few tools to show that you don't need much to make an accurate jig. I truly believe that this is the single most useful jig for hand planing.
