Making a water tight conveyor body. Part 2

Описание к видео Making a water tight conveyor body. Part 2

Part 2 of fabricating a conveyor body.

Finishing off the conveyor body.
The 2 remaining sides are cnc plasma cut out, pressed and bolted onto the belt frame. The end plates are pressed and tack welded into position once the body has been squared up.
The remaining parts are cnc plasma cut out of 12mm. The 2 rings are drilled and tapped out to 10mm, the tensioner brackets are pressed and tacked on, along with the lifting eyes/leg mounts.
A pipe flange is machined from 25mm plate in the lathe, then the milling machine is used to drill the bolt hole centres. The holes are drilled out 16mm then the flange is welded onto a short pipe which is then welded onto the end tank.
The hole body is then welded together.
The side skirts are then made and bolted in to weld the 2 halves together.
Everything is then given a degreased and pressure washed off before paint.

Hope you enjoyed the video.
Thanks for watching!
