This is a common problem with these small Abu multipliers. The spool release button sticks and you have to lift it with a finger nail or such. I have heard of service guys fitting expensive new parts to cure this.
My tip fixes the issue simply and at no cost, and will last just as long as as fitting a new part. For a complete strip, clean and rebuild on these reels see my other video on servicing them.
