Liv Maessen went from a suburban housewife with two children, to running second in a ‘New Faces Talent Quest’ that then provided her with a recording contract that led her to having recorded some absolutely gorgeous and noteworthy songs for those of us that are older enough to remember. Liv had a ‘pure’ contralto voice which is considered the rarest type of female voice and to hear her sing ‘Snowbird’ just makes this Boy from Oz ‘heart melt’.

Special notation – Snowbird has been recorded by many famous artists including Elvis Presley and Ann Murray who had a world-wide hit with the song but it’s Liv’s unique version of song that will forever stay in my memory.
