Lightermans Riggers Watermens Hitch - How to Tie Very Easy and Secure Knot that will not Jam

Since doing this video, I get the feeling that there are a number of different ways of tying this knot. Please let me know if you tie it this way or another way?

How to Tie the Lightermans Hitch. There appears to be a number of variant, but this was the way I was taught. The Lightermans Hitch as for a very long time been used by Lightermen Riggers and Watermen in their day to day work with boats and barges. Often used to tie one boat to another, or to secure to a mooring or guy line. The great advantage to this knot is that it is very secure, yet it will not jam and is extremely easy to cast off.
