Founded in 1938, the Madison Scouts are the third oldest drum corps in the activity. The corps is one of two remaining all-male groups and was originally founded as a Boy Scout troop. The Scouts are now an active Explorer troop (Explorer Troop 600) of the Boy Scouts of America and are registered with the Glacier's Edge Council (formerly Four Lakes Council) in Madison, Wisconsin.
