Beautiful Alaska

Friends, I hope everyone is doing very well. Today we will learn about Alaska, the 49th state in the United States. This vast region is one of the rarest in the world. According to the 2015 census, the total population of Alaska is close to 7 million, with an average population of one person per two square kilometers , in this vast area of 1.5 million square kilometers. The population density is so low because most of the region is covered by glaciers, rugged mountains, active volcanoes and forests.

Alaska is a U.S. state at the northwest extremity of North America. A semi-exclave of the U.S., it borders the Canadian province of British Columbia and the territory of Yukon to the east and has a maritime border with Russia's Chukotka Autonomous Okrug to the west, just across the Bering Strait.
