More than two decades ago, back in the distant year of 2001, Nintendo released the GameCube, a small purple console that they believed would take the world by storm. While the GameCube faced the stiff competition of the first Xbox and the titanic PlayStation 2, it still carved out an incredible library of games, with new installments in existing franchises, stellar remakes and ports, and of course some brand new IPs ready to take the gaming world by storm.
