Well this is seemingly the game I have worked on speedrunning for the longest I suppose. That's when the shame comes in that this run isn't the record. But I am only 10 seconds too slow for that (EDIT: That was at the time of uploading this, just a few days later the WR has been improved twice in a row lol). The fact that this run is the second best in existence satisfies me, I really can't complain.
For a fourth time, my time in a Speed Run PB has the same number for both, the minutes and the seconds, which is just proof that I am the greatest magician on this planet. 54:54 was an old PB in this game, 47:47 was the Deathless Crash 2 record I set, 44:44 is the Crash 2 record I set with death abuse, now this is the improvement of Crash 3 in just 52:52.

What is this here? A playthrough of game, that aims to beat it in the fastest possible time by all means. This game is Crash Bandicoot 3 Warped for the original PlayStation. This run was played on an emulator, however it is not tool-assisted. The loading times in this game are a little bit faster, than on a regular PSX, but if this game was played on a PlayStation 2 using its Fast Disk Speed option, it would immensely speed up (loading screens can be cut down to like 2 seconds with that). That can result in the game being beaten in less than 50 minutes, if the runner is good at the same time. Since I do not have this possibility, I will have to stick to this way.

Now this is the NTSC-U version of this game and there are various reasons for that. Crash's walking speed has been sped up in the PAL version of this game, true. But unlike Crash 2, getting invincibility is a major time saver in this game. The NTSC version has (for an obscure reason) more masks and less enemies, compared to its European cousin. This makes easily up for the minor walking speed differences.
The movement that is preferred differs in boith version as well. Whereas Neutral Slide Spin was the technique in Crash 2, it does not exist in this game...well not quite exactly. It has been swapped (whether that was intentional by the developers or not, is a mystery yet to be uncovered) for Neutral Slide Jumping, which as a counterpart does not exist in Crash 2. Strange thing. It is not as fast, but the fastest way to move in the NTSC version. In the PAL version, NSJs do exist as well, but doing plain Slide Spinning is faster due to the icnreasement of Crash's running speed. But of course, in the end it will not matter, because this fact can not battle the superior NTSC version.
Game Over abusing does work in this game just the same way it did in Crash 2, but all of the crystals in the game (or almost all of them) are at the very end of the level, so it would not save any time.

Now this run was a little bit frustrating to get, since I wasn't allowed to do major mistakes. I still did some silly stuff, which is just facepalm-worthy, like missing the portal into the level or losing both of my masks at once in Gone Tomorrow. I was also pretty lucky to nto die or get hit at some parts, but I am deifnitely fine with this run and I am glad I could get less than 53 minutes on a recording with good quality.

We surely need a TAS of this game BUT there is no emulator that is compatible with the game's graphics, so be patient until one comes out. If I can keep up my motivation for that, I will do a TAS of this game. Probably even 105%.
For now I shall be busy improving the record of 105% in manual play and also get less than 2 hours on Crash TwinSanity 100%. Maybe I will go far enough to beat the record in Any% for that game.
I shall be streaming attempts on   / mrnojojojo
Be sure to check it out.
Since I have been reffering to my Crash 2 run countless times in this video description, I will link it here as well
