Major Henry "Schadow" Schantz gets ready to perform the first demonstration of the 2012 Air Show season. This F-22 Raptor jet: (HO AF 04 072) did not end up flying the demonstration. As soon as Major. Schantz was at the end of the runway and almost cleared for take-off, he noticed the jet had a mechanical issue. He brought the jet back, and jumped into the cockpit of F-22 Raptor Jet: (HO 49 WG); The jet that flew all 3 days. The F-22 Raptor Demo Team is based out of Langley Air Force Base in Hampton Roads, Va.
