On March 25, 2024, CityNews relaunched with a new graphics package and music. Some elements were recycled from the previous package such as the L3s, albeit recoloured. The opening theme was changed and the last remnants of the 2003 CityPulse theme (which was previously used in the close) have been completely removed.

For the first time since 1987, CityNews Toronto has been fully presented at a desk, instead of having the anchor stand in the newsroom. The anchorless format has been ditched in Toronto and Vancouver, with both stations having functionally the same new set. The old anchorless format remains on the rest of the network.

The 5 PM newscast is anchored by Melisa Nakhavoly.
