In this stock market podcast, we have the presence of Mr. Vikas Yadav, who is also known as Arcadian Trader in the YouTube community. Vikas Yadav is a full-time options seller and he has a commendable knowledge of all the types of stock market trading.

His share market journey began when was a college student in 2008 and got to know about the market from his neighbour. Vikas Yadav then opened a demat account in IIFL with a capital of ₹5000 and allowed his stockbroker to trade on his behalf.

He is a physiotherapist and opened a clinic after shutting down the stock market for some time. Later on, Vikas shutdown the clinic and started a textile business during which something hit him to become financially independent.

Afterwards, he made a re-entry in the share market and started taking trades on a random basis. Arcadian Trader’s family was not having the best time so he became more desperate to become successful in the stock market.

His desperation led him to fall in love with the technical charts. Vikas became so passionate about analysing charts that he started spending 10 hours a day doing it.

During the time when he was learning share market trading, Arcadian Trader blew up his capital several times. Vikas was not able to crack the stock market and kept making mistakes, such as revenge trading, experimenting new trading strategies and over relying on technical indicators.

Further in this stock market podcast, you’ll see Mr. Vikas Yadav started making profits in the stock market when he became utterly focused on learning price action and backtesting on historical data.

During his initial time in the market, he got so many fingers pointed at him from the society but the support he got from his wife and family was what kept him going.

Vikas Yadav was so passionate that even after losing consistently, he didn’t give up. As he told us, he has lost money in every way possible in the stock market.
