John and Maria Luti, parents of James Luti, joined the Stoneham Hockey Spartans in the locker room at Lowell's Tsongas Center to celebrate the Division 2 North championship after they defeated Boston Latin in a hard fought game, 2-1 March 11. James, who died tragically before the start of this season, would have been a sophomore defenseman on this team. His teammates have honored his memory by dedicating this season to him, which has just one more game left at the TD Garden against Plymouth South Sunday, March 18, with the Division 2 state championship on the line.
