This hotel is located next to Düsseldorf airport. It has been opened in the mid 2000's. Just as we know from the average Maritim hotel, they have a very nice and professional design and some "promenade".

However, it doesn't look as extravagant as those epic late 80's and early 90's Maritim's... the elevator cabs are just rectangular and the design doesn't include all those golden panels. Still a pretty nice and modern interior design.

There are 13 elevators at this place of which a set of four plus a single pool elevator is for guests only. Six elevators are service and not meant to be for the public. Another two elevators are accessible for everyone.

All elevators are OTIS. Most of them are OTIS Gen2, but I am not that sure about the set of four guest elevators. The public elevators at the lobby area are both OTIS 2000 hydraulic. There are three firefighter elevators around, which is quite a lot.

The stage freight elevator looks and feels like a Walter Meyer hydraulic one. It is however, labeled OTIS. Maybe OTIS ordered this elevator at Walter Meyer. This elevator connects the biggest banquet hall "Maritim" and also a smaller one, called "Düsseldorf".

This place is easy to reach. It is located at Düsseldorf Airport, next to terminal C. You can take trains from Düsseldorf central. S11 brings you to the terminal railway station, S1,l located below terminal C. Several regional and IC/ICE trains bring you to the airport station where you can change to the "SkyTrain" going to "Terminal C". Its a 3-5 minutes walk from terminal C.
