How to get Mercedes AIRMATIC compressor back working

Here, we have 2014 Gl450 that went from a working compressor, then a pump failure because of blown rear struts. After replacing the struts and the compressor, the compressor would still not turn on.

First, I checked fuses and the relay with a multimeter.
Second, I replaced the fuses and relay in case of an intermittent short.

Finally, my guys down at Alex automotive services link below were able to help with a AUTEL odb tablet scan tool, worth the investment.
