ABOUT THE SIGMA STUDENT
Born out of a personal project for the Activating Identities and Futures subject (formerly known as the Research Project), The Sigma Student aims at equipping students with video resources to accelerate their learning. The idea for this was born after the founder, Nigel Kumar, saw countless classmates and friends complaining about the lack of SACE-oriented online tutorials, to which he responded by starting this channel. Currently, the channel will mainly be focused on SACE Biology, but will branch out to other subjects in 2025, such as English, Chemistry, Psychology, and UCAT.

ABOUT THE FOUNDER
Nigel is a 2023 SACE graduate, receiving a 99.05 ATAR (Unscaled) and Dux of his school, amongst numerous subject prizes. He is currently on the journey of applying for a degree in medicine, taking a gap year in 2024 to sit the UCAT and Medical School Interviews, whilst doing Stage 2 AIF and Psychology subjects on the side. He hopes that by teaching content via YouTube, he can equip young people to excel in their secondary studies, and pursue their dream careers.
