This tiny, rugged, desolate island of volcanic rock is located off the southeast coast of Curaçao – about one-and-a-half hours by boat.

Once you leave the southeast coast of Curacao, you find yourself in the middle of the open Caribbean Sea… But from far away you can spot the island because of the iconic pink lighthouse located in the middle of the island. The Netherlands has designated Klein Curaçao as its 55th Wetland of International Importance. The Site (Ramsar Site no. 2355) consists of the small, uninhabited island and the surrounding sea and Klein Curacao is part of a Sea Turtle Protection Initiative by Sea Turtle Conservation Curacao (STCC)
