This video covers the basics of choosing your first oracle or tarot deck. I briefly describe the best place to search for your first deck and why it’s important to search for your first deck in this fashion (via my own humorous trial and error stories).

I cover a few different descriptors in choosing a deck such as textures, what feels good in the hands, what you are drawn to. This video also includes a short overview of a couple different tarot decks and oracle decks in addition to a discussion of guidebooks and tarot/oracle inserts and beginners vs novice readers.
