In this short video, I share all the steps to attaching a Ruler Base to a Little Rebel Sewing Machine on a Cutie Breeze quilting frame.

To attach a ruler base, first remove your quilting needle plate, foot and needle so you can easily slide the attachment onto your machine. Grip the front metal bracket firmly and press the ruler base in place. It will be a VERY tight fit on the Little Rebel sewing machine.

Once attached, there is no reason to remove your ruler base. Leave it attached all the time so all you'll need to do is attach a ruler foot and grab a ruler to begin ruler quilting. It's also such a tight fit that it requires 2 people to remove it - one hanging onto the back of the machine and another pulling the ruler base from the front. So yeah, once you get it attached, leave it on!

*** When using a Little Rebel on a Cutie Breeze Frame, you will need to adjust the frame to have more space for the ruler base so it doesn't reduce your stroke. Shift the side brackets to the #3 position, or the position for 18-19 inch machines. This way you can use the ruler base on your Little Rebel and have plenty of room for creative play!
