Smart Voice Split is great in this context and very easy to set up.

I added a flugelhorn to the Reed Section preset and played 4-note chords so there would be one instrument per note.

I also like the tone of the muted trumpet.

The bass is an acoustic from Trillian.

The music is my arrangement of the verse section of 'The Shadow Of Your Smile' by Johnny Mandel and Paul Francis Webster originally written for the 1965 movie 'The Sandpiper"
