This is just a follow-up video to this one    • TSK 20 Initial Battle (Hard Difficulty) - ...   , in which I showed (one way) to tackle the initial battle in this mission, should the goal be to save more than half of the starting troops. (I assumed that the approach that I took in the beta against the AI in hard difficulty would SURELY work in r6720, but I was wrong! It seems that there is a difference in hit points, etc. which makes the approach I showed in the beta not applicable to r6720.)

I did get LUCKY in this try (I typically get around 44 losses on a good trial), but slight variations of this should still allow you to at least win the initial battle (most of the time)!

Can someone beat (or match) this minimal loss record (without AI abuse and without save reloads, just like this one was)? It would be interesting to see if someone has done/could do that!
