In 1991 our founders raised the funds to purchase two forest blocks and prevent them from being sold and logged. A dedicated community was born and our mission to heal and protect the bush.

Over the years Bush Heritage has grown into a leading conservation not for profit. Now our impact spans the continent and its waters through our vast reserve network work and partnerships.

We apply science and the knowledge of Australia's first nation's people to guide our actions and build resilience into our landscapes, and restore habitat for precious wildlife.

We see possibility far and wide and walk in harmony with first nations people and our agricultural partners to make sure our on-ground impact is deep, collaborative and long lived.
