Here's the next episode of Scales & Tales with Eddie Van Halen's Symmetrical Scales. I've had a lot of requests to feature Eddie's music, playing habits, secrets, and more - so I felt this would be a great lesson to add to the assortment of EVH-related episodes on the LNL channel.

This lesson takes a look at Eddie's awkward but immensely musical symmetrical scales commonly found in his music. After a brief introduction to what symmetrical scales are and how you can approach using them in music, we're off to the races with countless phrases, licks, and ideas that came directly from Eddies's playing habits and music. Eddie used many of these symmetrical-based ideas and concepts in his playing frequently - from small licks and brief fills to entire guitar solos.
