Itchen College’s Aaron Berida has picked up the EABL Player of the Week for Week 13 of the 2017/18 season.

Berida went off for 20 points, 7 rebounds, 6 assists along with 1 steal, whilst helping Itchen to a hugely important 65-64 win over JMA in the battle for the playoffs.

“Getting this award is a huge honour, which wouldn’t be possible without my teammates and coaching staff,” Berida said. “This game had massive playoff implications and we had to show a lot of resilience against a great JMA team to get the win.”

Itchen Head Coach Matt Guymon added:

“Aaron is one of the hardest working and most dedicated players I have ever coached, always putting the team before himself.

“I’m so proud of the season he has had so far and there was no difference in the JMA game where he was influential at both ends of the floor, especially down the final stretch.”
