NS Central of Georgia Heritage Unit & lots of other trains in the Cincinnati area!

Описание к видео NS Central of Georgia Heritage Unit & lots of other trains in the Cincinnati area!

The first set of videos were taken last week. We were not looking for any particular engine and we were just watching trains. We saw a train pass by in Hamilton, so we headed up to Seven Mile to try to catch it there. As the train was coming NS SD70ACe was waiting for it to pass. After the train went by, the switch was thrown in #1226’s favor and it was on its way. The funny thing about NS #1226 is its door is painted black and does not have the NS stripes on like most engines do. The next set of video was filmed yesterday in Seven Mile while we were waiting for NS #8100 (Nickel Plate Road) to come through and we saw 3 high speed trains. One of them had an old NS dash 9, which surprisingly was pretty clean, despite its age. They kept sending more northbounds which made NS #8100 have to wait till dark. We needed to get home so we could not see it. Today we went of to Hamilton and saw a CSX GP38-2 pushing a train with a caboose on it. The caboose had a little whistle, which is used in this video. As we were there, we saw that NS #8101 (Central of Georgia) was in Lexington, KY heading north towards us. So we saw one CSX train and made our journey to Erlanger, KY. We waited for about 10 minutes and then NS #8101 came around the bend. It went by pretty fast. We headed up to Ludlow, KY to see if it had stopped in the yard, and it sure did. It was sitting in the yard so we got a few pictures and went up to the viewing tower. After waiting about 7-10 minutes it went by and I got a great video.
I hope you enjoyed!
