Scout Society organized the second Sport4all event in Romania - a Training, 11-17 June 2019; the project is implemented in partnership with four other organizations from Croatia, Slovenia, Bulgaria and Spain. The "Sport4all" project is one of the nine projects approved at national level and the only one in the Oltenia region, co-funded by the European Union through the Erasmus + Sport program.
Youth workers, young people from the local communities of partner countries with experience in the field of sport participated in the training. They discussed the prevention of discrimination, the promotion of tolerance, social inclusion and equal opportunities through sport.
The purpose of the training was to encourage the promotion of sport in local communities by organizing various sports activities for young people, highlighting the benefits of sport in community development.
Participants shared best practices and shared sports experiences. The training was attended by both sports representatives, and other experts who will provide participants with information applicable to their communities. Also, during the training we organized more activities promoting the sport and its benefits for health and society.
