Sovereign Metals Limited (ASX:SVM | AIM:SVML | OTCQX:SVMLF) provides its December 2025 Quarterly Update, highlighting major progress at the Kasiya Rutile-Graphite Project in Malawi.

The Company successfully recovered a high-value monazite concentrate containing heavy rare earth elements from rutile tailings, with exceptionally high Dysprosium, Terbium (DyTb), and Yttrium grades exceeding those of the world’s largest producers. These elements are critical for defence, clean energy, aerospace, and advanced technologies.

The monazite is produced as a near-zero cost by-product, with basic concentrate pricing above US$8,500 per tonne, creating potential for a third revenue stream alongside rutile and graphite.

During the quarter, Sovereign also signed a Collaboration Agreement with the IFC (World Bank Group) to support sustainable development and potential project financing. Kasiya’s strategic importance was further underscored by U.S. government engagement and tightening Chinese export controls on heavy rare earths.
