Indian Army thwarted an attempt of the Chinese troops to carry out “provocative military movements to change the status quo” in the southern bank of Pangong Tso lake in Ladakh. The incident at the LAC took place overnight between August 29 and 30, the defence ministry statement read on Monday. A Brigade Commander-level meet is currently on at Chushul to resolve the issue.
