Hello parent of lovely little toddlers! Thank you for clicking over here! In this video my 17 month old son demonstrates Thanksgiving themed process art. This requires very little prep work and might not produce the most beautiful of paintings. However process art is just as important as making collaborative art and what I mean is art that we help our toddlers make pretty... with process art we ignore the mess and just go with the flow! My partner smirked at me, "I bet you didn't think Dez was going to paint with the rubber end of the turkey baster, did ya?" Then I realized that I have more fun observing Dez utilize tools in ways I'd never think of which is just one of the joys of having a toddler. Our job in during art process is to observe the creation being made regardless of how much paint ended up in our hair!
