Chief Minister censured MS THQ hospital Raiwind for poor hygienic condition and absence of doctors and staff from duty.
"Why patient wards ACs aren't working while you sit in an air-conditioned room ??"- Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif warned MS THQ hospital Raiwind to fix it.The CM inspected the construction work and inspected different wards and other sections of the hospital. The hospital staff and laborers were surprised to see the chief minister moving around. Shehbaz also inquired after the health of patients in different wards of the hospital.
The CM praised the general conditions of cleanliness as well as the presence of doctors and said he had been happy to visit the hospital where patients were given the best healthcare facilities.

However, Shehbaz reprimanded the hospital’s medical superintendent for not wearing a doctor’s gown. He asked patients and their attendants about the healthcare facilities who expressed their satisfaction about the quality of treatment and provision of free medicines.

The chief minister said the Punjab government would add 250 beds to enhance the capacity of the hospital to facilities more patients in southern Punjab. He said the speed of construction work be expedited further as the extension of this hospital would provide more facilities to the people.
While talking to the media persons, the CM said the hospital was providing the latest facilities to the people of Punjab
“Every patient is treated free in the hospital and it is much better than other the public sector hospitals,” he said. To a question, the chief minister said Multan Kidney Centre would also start working soon
