In this episode of #DataDrivenInsights I discuss why we all should have an #InclusionRider in #DataScience, #STEM & Beyond.

Recent few days saw the #blacklivesmatter campaign taking over the world. Violence is obviously not the answer. What is important about the #blacklivesmatter campaign is that it highlights not only black lives (which are in danger now), but also lives of many other people, representing various #minorities. I feel that we often talk about #inclusivity and #diversity in #DataScience, #AI, and, generally, #STEM. Yet, we seem to be always discussing the #PROBLEM, but very rarely concentrate on the #SOLUTION. One solution I would like to highlight is #InclusionRider. It is amazing what we can achieve if we "calmly but authoritatively" demand more #inclusion and #diversity at conference speaker line-ups, keynotes, project/work contracts, etc. If every time we negotiate a contract we demand more inclusivity and diversity, the world will be a better place. And no, this is not only up to Hollywood A-listers and white males to insist on inclusion and diversity. It is up to us all (yes, including Hollywood A-listers and white males!). So, let me ask you this: what is your inclusion rider?
