Lady Bird Lake Trail is a 10 mile heavily trafficked loop trail located near #Austin, #Texas that features a river and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for walking, running, and road biking and is accessible year-round. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.

This is a nice family-friendly trail around Lady Bird Lake.

Accessibility: There are 2 designated accessible spaces in the paved parking lot off of South Lamar Boulevard at the southwest end of the trail. Both of them are van-accessible with striped access aisles. The trail surface is paved concrete and smooth. It is typically at least 8 feet wide.

The majority of the trail is estimated to be in the mostly gentle (5% or less) grade category and the steepest section is at about 9.5 miles when going counterclockwise. Trail goers/hikers using wheelchairs/mobility equipment or strollers may need assistance in the steeper section or to avoid it for safety. There are benches along the route for resting.
