Simply NFC allows one to scan properly configured NFC tags to trigger HomeKit scenes. Imagine walking into your house and tapping your phone against a tag that trigger a scene to turn on all the lights, lock the door, set the thermostat, and close the blinds!

HomeKit scenes can be triggered by any tags written with the text “homekitscene:SCENE_NAME”. The scene name entered here will be triggered when the tag is scanned.
