I'M BACK IN SUBNAUTICA! I managed to get back to where I left off before I died on my last hardcore save.
It's been great getting back into it, I realised I wasted a fair bit of time on my last save, so I want to give this episode a little more direction. Straight into it!

The new Salad Days update is out! I have absolutely no idea what that entails at this stage, but I'm very excited. On this episode, I explore more of the depths of the unknown, encounter some dangerous creatures, finally find something I've been looking for and I make up for the death on my last save!!

Subnautica really is amazing. I think the devs have continued to update the textures and performance of the game, it feels better than ever and I'm happy to be playing on hardcore while the same feels so stable.
Hardcore also gives the survival elements of the game much more purpose and means there is much more at stake at all times, so when I do encounter something like a Brute Shark, I have no idea if it will be the end of my game or not. All it takes is one mistake on this journey, as I've already found out the hard way!
