With Cyclone ‘DANA’ expected to hit the Odisha coast near Bhitarkanika National Park in Kendrapara, the forest division has mobilized two teams, each consisting of seven members, to handle the potential danger of crocodiles and snakes entering human areas due to storm surges and heavy rain. Bhitarkanika, a renowned biodiversity hotspot in India, lies about 150 km from Bhubaneswar.
