চারা আম গাছে কলম করার সহজ পদ্ধতি হলো গুটি কলম। এই পদ্ধতিতে কলম করার জন্য নিম্নলিখিত উপকরণ ও সরঞ্জাম প্রয়োজন:

কলম: কলম হিসেবে 1-2 বছর বয়সী আম গাছের শাখা বা ডাল ব্যবহার করা যেতে পারে। কলমের দৈর্ঘ্য 15-20 সেন্টিমিটার হওয়া উচিত। কলমের কান্ডের নিচের অংশে দুটি চোখ (buds) থাকা উচিত।
মূল গাছ: কলম করার জন্য 1-2 বছর বয়সী আম গাছ ব্যবহার করা যেতে পারে। গাছের কান্ডের ব্যাস কমপক্ষে 2 সেন্টিমিটার হওয়া উচিত।
**ক্যান্সার বা রোগাক্রান্ত অংশ বাদ দেওয়ার জন্য একটি ধারালো চাকু বা ছুরি।
**কলম ও মূল গাছের কান্ডের সাথে সংযুক্ত করার জন্য একটি প্লাস্টিকের টেপ বা স্ট্রিং।

কলম করার পদ্ধতি:

প্রথমে, মূল গাছের কান্ডের মাঝখানে একটি লম্বা কাটা দিন। কাটার দৈর্ঘ্য কমপক্ষে 10 সেন্টিমিটার হওয়া উচিত।
এবার, কলমের কান্ডের নিচের অংশে দুটি চোখের ঠিক নিচে একটি লম্বা কাটা দিন। কাটার দৈর্ঘ্য কমপক্ষে 5 সেন্টিমিটার হওয়া উচিত।

কলম করার উপযুক্ত সময়:

আম গাছে কলম করার উপযুক্ত সময় হলো বর্ষার শুরু (মে-জুন) এবং বর্ষার শেষ (সেপ্টেম্বর-অক্টোবর)। এই সময় আবহাওয়া আর্দ্র থাকে, যা কলম সফল হওয়ার সম্ভাবনা বাড়ায়।

কলম সফল হওয়ার পর:

কলম করার পর, কলমের কান্ডের উপরের অংশে একটি ছোট চামড়া দিয়ে ঢেকে দিন। এতে কলমের কান্ডের ক্ষতি থেকে রক্ষা পাবে। কলমের কান্ডের উপরের অংশে নিয়মিত পানি দিন।

কলম সফল হলে, কলমের কান্ড থেকে নতুন শাখা বা ডাল গজাতে শুরু করবে। কলম সফল হওয়ার প্রায় 1-2 মাস পর প্লাস্টিকের টেপ বা স্ট্রিং খুলে ফেলতে পারেন।

If the graft is successful, new branches or twigs will begin to grow from the stem of the graft. You can remove the plastic tape or string about 1-2 months after the graft is successful.

Use healthy and vigorous mango tree branches or twigs for grafting.
When grafting, insert the stem eye of the graft well into the stem of the parent plant.
After grafting, cover the upper part of the stem of the graft with a thin layer of skin.
