The Storyline : Matt meets Pete at their local pub, the Abbey, along with his friends and his company. All of his friends make friends with Matt, with the exception of Bovver, who is his right-hand man. They go to Upton Park for the game after enjoying a few pints of lager. Following the game, Matt decides it's not for him and tells Pete he's taking the train home. Pete, Bovver, and the other firm members decide to go fight some Birmingham fans. Matt is almost given a "Chelsea Grin" by three Birmingham supporters as he makes his way back to the subterranean, but he is saved by some GSE members who are heading to a bigger brawl. Despite being greatly outnumbered, the GSE are able to hold their ground until the Birmingham firm is driven out by reinforcements. After winning his first real fight, Matt is accepted into the GSE. Matt moves in with Pete following a fight with Steve, and the two share anecdotes. The GSE company will next travel to see Manchester United play. Matt sneaks onto the train even though he wasn't supposed to be there. They are informed in advance on the train that 40 members of the ManU firm will be waiting for them at the station. As soon as Bovver presses the emergency stop button, the GSE is able to arrive at an earlier stop (Macclesfield). They convince a van driver to drive them into Manchester after they are unable to locate a cab. The driver and Matt are seated in the front of the van, with the remaining GSE occupying the rear. The ManU supporters let the van pass when Matt explains that it is carrying equipment for a Hugh Grant movie. He stops the van as he passes them, opens the rear, and the GSE leap out to attack the ManU firm employees. They win the fight and run away singing "There's your famous GSE". It is soon revealed to Matt that the GSE's sworn enemy is Millwall's firm, led by Tommy Hatcher, whom Bovver makes negotiations with after getting jealous of Matt.
