My name is John Daub, a YouTube creator and reporter in Japan living here for over 23 years.
Welcome to the new ONLY in JAPAN (John Daub) Channel which is a continuation of a series I created after the Great Tohoku Earthquake om March 11th, 2011. It was from this disaster which impacted the lives of so many people in Japan that I felt a strong desire to create a show full of positivity and stories about the country I've called home since 1998.

It's not easy to start a new channel and I know it will be a real challenge but I feel it's the right thing to do. This particular channel was created in September 2011which traces back to my roots and desires to make this the no.1 show about Japan on YouTube. Thanks for joining this community!
