In the second round of the 2018 Shriners Hospital for Children Open, Peter Uihlein built off his Thursday performance, carding six birdies and just one bogey on his way to a 5-under 66, putting him at 13-under for the tournament and atop the leaderboard heading into the weekend.

The Shriners Hospitals for Children Open, Las Vegas' only PGA TOUR event, is contested at TPC Summerlin. In 2017, Patrick Cantlay secured his first PGA TOUR win in playoff, beating Alex Cejka and Whee Kim on the second extra hole.
