The King of All Repentance (Sayyidul Istighfar) 👑✨

Did you know there is a specific prayer that the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ called the "Master of Seeking Forgiveness"?

The Prophet ﷺ said: "Whoever recites this with firm faith during the day and dies before evening, he will be among the people of Paradise. And whoever recites it at night with firm faith and dies before morning, he will be among the people of Paradise." (Sahih Bukhari)

The Prayer (Transliteration):
Allahumma anta rabbi laa ilaaha illa anta khalaqtanii wa ana 'abduka wa ana 'ala 'ahdika wa wa'dika mastatha'tu. A'udzu bika min syarri maa shana'tu, abuu-u laka bini'matika 'alayya wa abuu-u laka bidzanbii faghfirlii fa innahu laa yaghfirudz dzunuuba illa anta.

Meaning:
"O Allah, You are my Lord. None has the right to be worshipped but You. You created me and I am Your slave, and I am faithful to my covenant and my promise as much as I can. I seek refuge with You from all the evil I have done. I acknowledge before You all the blessings You have bestowed upon me, and I confess to You all my sins. So I entreat You to forgive my sins, for nobody can forgive sins except You."

It acknowledges Allah's Lordship (Tawhid).
