7 Night Wilderness Camping Adventure With My Dog [FULL TRIP]

I head out into the wilderness with my dog, Monty, to spend a week canoeing, portaging, fishing, eating and viewing wildlife and the beautiful nature. We encounter all sorts of weather and have a blast!

Permethrin Tips
Always follow directions when using permethrin as it is very toxic in its liquid form. It is extremely toxic to cats! Wear rubber gloves and be careful until it fully adheres to your clothing.
The brand I use is Martins. I dilute it at a ratio of 19 parts water to 1 part Martins permethrin. I completely soak all gear in a 5 gallon bucket of this solution for perfect coverage. I do all clothing, then get some on my muckboot foam top part, my tent, and a bandanna for Monty. I have tested it with finding a tick and letting the tick crawl on my treated clothes and the tick died within 10 minutes.
