One Seven UK is a family-owned business based in Southampton, England that specialises in crafting high-quality handmade scrunchies, which come in super size, mini, and skinny varieties. In addition to scrunchies, we offer a range of other premium handmade products, as making things is our passion.

We are a family consisting of husband and wife, Matt and Verji, and our daughters Rachel and Abigail. Matt hails from Yeovil, England while Verji originally comes from Sofia, Bulgaria. We met in November 2006 in Winchester, England, got engaged in March 2007 at the Statue of Liberty, and tied the knot in August 2007 back in Winchester. Verji works as a radiographer at the hospital in Southampton, while Matt takes charge of our children's homeschooling.

As a young child, Verji was captivated by her grandmothers' skills in crocheting, knitting, and sewing. At the age of seven, she began to learn these techniques and has since developed a passion for creating unique and thoughtful gifts that bring joy to others.

At One Seven UK, Verji handcrafts everything with love and attention to detail, while Matt manages computer operations and order processing. Rachel and Abigail also contribute by modelling our beautiful scrunchies.

The name "One Seven UK" is a reference to the Bible verse, Joshua 1:7.
