Slovakia's Most Iconic Castles - Timelapse Video - 4K

Slovakia has abundant cultural and historical, fortified and stately buildings. There are more than 100 castles and at least double this number of manor houses built in different historical eras.

This timelapse locations are as follows :

➤ Orava Castle - Oravský hrad - The most attractive tourist locality of the northern Slovakia, built on impressive cliffs above Orava river near the village Oravský Podzámok. In 1370, it became a county castle and the seat of the Orava Castle estate, which included almost the whole region of Orava.
➤ Beckov Castle - castle standing on steep 50 m tall rock in the village Beckov. The dominance of the rock and impression of invincibility it gaves, challenged our ancestors to make use of these assets
➤ Castle of Strečno - Strečniansky hrad - Strečno Castle built on top of the limestone rock, on the left bank of the Váh river, close to Žilina town
➤ Trencin Castle - Trenčiansky hrad - Castle of Trenčín built on top of a steep rock is undoubtedly the dominant of the town Trenčín and the region of Považie, one of the biggest in Europe, National Cultural Monument.
➤ Spiš Castle - Spišský hrad - UNESCO World Heritage Site - Castle of Spiš is the largest medieval castle compound in central Europe along with the little town of Spišské Podhradie
➤ Stará Ľubovňa Castle - Ľubovniansky hrad - Historical castle built at turn of 13th & 14th century on limestone cliff of 711 m over Stará Ľubovňa town
➤ Lietava Castle - Lietavský hrad - Impressive ruins of the Lietava Castle, one of the biggest and most visited castles of Slovakia
➤ Krasna Horka Castle - Hrad Krásna Hôrka - Castle is situated east of Rožňava standing on top of the conspicuous unwooded mountain, which dominates the Rožňavská kotlina basin
➤ Slovenská Ľupča Castle - Ľupčiansky hrad - One of the best preserved castles in Slovakia standing above village Slovenská Ľupča at the foothills of the mountains Nízke Tatry
➤ Bojnice Castle - Bojnický zámok - One of the most visited and most beautiful castles in Slovakia, popular with many international filmmakers for number of romantic, fairytale and fantasy films
