Dr. Esolen received his B.A. from Princeton University, and his Ph. D. from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. Dr. Esolen is a professor of humanities and writer-in-residence at Magdalen College of the Liberal Arts in Warner, New Hampshire. Dr. Anthony Esolen is the author of twenty-seven books and over one thousand articles in both scholarly and general interest journals. An accomplished poet in his own right, Dr. Esolen is known for his widely acclaimed three-volume verse translation of Dante’s Divine Comedy (Modern Library), which many consider the standard edition for students of Dante. In May 2022, Dr. Esolen will release his latest book, "No Apologies: Why Civilization Depends upon the Strength of Men."
