I believe many people would love to own some property or a house in Florida. As I travel the country, many people tell me they want to buy a vacation home or rental property in the state of Florida! Have you ever thought about real estate in another city or state from where you currently live? I know I did, but I was a little concerned about being able to find deals in other real estate markets.
Real Estate Investing is fun and always an adventure! As I consult with people all over the country, they often ask about places I visit throughout the country. People ask, "How are other real estate markets and is it fun to travel and see all these places? " Yes, it is so fun to make friends and talk about real estate! As I travel, I will feature a new city each week in this Real Estate Investing Adventure Weekly Series.
Golden Nugget #1: It is usually a good idea to start your real estate investing near your home. Try to go no more than 1 hour around where you live unless you need to go farther. Looking at real estate early on the weekends can expand your search area without expanding the driving time!
Golden Nugget #2: Always be patient when looking to invest in any area. As you access various real estate markets, it is always a good idea to gather information, do your due diligence, look at a lot of properties and make a lot of offers. You want to get a great deal and patience will normally reward you!
