পবিত্র রমজান মাস সামনে রেখে নিত্যপ্রয়োজনীয় পণ্যের আমদানি বাড়ছে। ব্যবসায়ীরা ঋণপত্র খোলা বাড়িয়েছেন। বিগত ছয় মাসের হিসাবে, বেশির ভাগ ক্ষেত্রে আমদানি বেড়েছে। সব মিলিয়ে সরবরাহ নিয়ে কোনো সমস্যা হবে না।

বাংলাদেশ ট্রেড অ্যান্ড ট্যারিফ কমিশন (বিটিটিসি) নিত্যপণ্যের চাহিদা, আমদানি ও আমদানির ঋণপত্র খোলা এবং স্থানীয় উৎপাদন পরিস্থিতি পর্যালোচনা করে বাণিজ্য মন্ত্রণালয়কে দেওয়া এক প্রতিবেদনে এ কথা বলেছে। ব্যবসায়ীরাও বলছেন, সরবরাহ নিয়ে সমস্যা হবে না। বিশ্ববাজারে অস্থিতিশীলতা নেই। চিন্তার বিষয় হলো মার্কিন ডলারের দাম। ডলারের দাম বাড়লে পণ্যের মূল্যবৃদ্ধির আশঙ্কা থাকে।

বাজার বিশ্লেষকেরা বলছেন, আমদানি ও সরবরাহ পরিস্থিতি ঠিক থাকলেও স্থানীয় বাজারে কারসাজির কারণে অনেক সময় পণ্যের দাম বেড়ে যায়। তাই প্রতিটি পর্যায়ে নজরদারি দরকার। অতীতে দেখা গেছে, যান্ত্রিক ত্রুটি বা অন্য কোনো কারণ দেখিয়ে কারখানা বন্ধ করে দেওয়া হয়। তখন কোনো নির্দিষ্ট পণ্যের সরবরাহে ঘাটতি তৈরি হয়। বাজারে দাম বেড়ে যায়।

সরকার ভোজ্যতেল, চিনিসহ কয়েকটি পণ্যে যে শুল্কছাড় দিয়েছে, তা যেন সাধারণ মানুষ পান, সেটা নিশ্চিত করার তাগিদও দিয়েছেন বিশ্লেষকেরা।

If the price of dollar increases, there is a risk of increase in the price of goods.

Market analysts say that even if the import and supply situation is fine, the prices of products often increase due to manipulation in the local market. So monitoring is required at every stage. In the past, factories have been shut down due to mechanical or other reasons.Then there is a shortage in the supply of a particular product. The market price rises. Analysts have also urged to ensure that the duty exemption given by the government on some products including edible oil and sugar should be made available to the common people.
