Increase Traffic to Amazon Listing - how to hide negative reviews on Amazon.
The next tip that I'm gonna share with you about traffic and conversions. Now, all of us wanna sell products that are absolutely loved by our customers, and that they all get five star reviews, and everyone absolutely loves them and shares with their friends. But, inevitably, when you continue to launch products, that's not always going to happen.
Eventually, you'll probably come across a product that you've launched that just is struggling to really get the reviews that you want it to get. And I've pulled up three products, they're all headphones, that seem to be in the situation. And this has happened to us as well. Even though we really love the product that we sourced and we thought it'd be great, for some reason the customers just don't like it, or maybe there was a quality issue and that product really doesn't meet up to our customer standards, or not to our own standards once we really take a closer look at it. Well when that happens though, you're left with a product that's probably struggling to maintain even a four star review, and you know that when you have a product that has negative reviews, and you have a lot of inventory sitting there, it's going to be difficult to sell those products, and you're probably very hesitant to spend money on external traffic to try to sell those products.
Because you know, that if you spend money, let's say on Google Adwords or on Facebook Ads, and you send people to these products, chances are they're going to see the negative reviews right away, and then move on to another product.
Well, I'm gonna show you a way that we, in this situation, have been able to still sell some of our products that have had an average review rating of less than four stars. And that's by sending people to the product, but hiding those negative reviews, and just making sure that they only see and focus on all the really cool great reviews that other customers have had when they bought out product. Let's take one of these for example.
So, I'll take the very last one, the Sentury Lightweight Digital Stereo Headphones. So as you can see, this product only has 3 stars review rating. So it's probably not doing very well. Let's go down to the bottom and take a look at the reviews. So if we were a customer who came to this page, and we were looking to buy and want to check out the reviews, what would we see? Well you can see, even the most recent ones are not good.
Well, here's what we do in that situation to hide all those negative reviews and only showthe good ones. If you click on where it says "See all customer reviews", it'll take you to a new page that shows you just the reviews and then you'll see these sorts and these filters down here. If you go over to the filter by all stars, and then select five star only, whatch what happens. Well, it's exactly what you might have thought. It's only showing all the five star reviews for this product.
If you wanted to make this look even a little more real, we could pick four stars and five stars, or simply say, all positive reviews.
