Will Intellia Therapeutics (NTLA) become Cathy Wood's next Tesla (TSLA)?

In June 2021, Intellia therapeutics successfully performed the first in vivo CRISPR/Cas9 gene-editing trial in humans. For the first time in mankind’s history, we are now capable of making precise changes to the code of life and potentially reversing disease-causing mutations. CRISPR technology also represents a paradigm shift of drug development from traditional approaches of treating disease symptoms to truly curing diseases. ARK’s Cathy Wood has been extremely bullish on the stock. Can Intellia become her next ‘Tesla’ pick in the Biotech sector? In this video, I will first describe Intellia’s approach and how CRISPR/Cas9 works, then I will discuss in more detail Intellia’s landmark NTLA-2001 trail for ATTR. Finally, I will make a comparison between Intellia and Tesla stock, and why I think both are excellent companies doing amazing things for human beings.
