We're both Dragon Quest newbies, so it was great to have the opportunity to check out Dragon Quest XI PS4 for the first time at a recent community event!

As part of this Dragon Quest 11 Preview, we got to check out to different parts of the game. The first, based on Cobblestone, was more about exploration. It was therefore a bit slower paced, and was only focussed around the main protagonist (Eleven) as he ventured to Heliodore.

The second, was much later in the game and it saw you take on the Slayer of the Sands boss battle with a much wider party, including Erik, Veronica, Serena and Sylvana.

Hopefully you enjoy hearing our thoughts, which has been inter-spliced with trailers and gameplay footage and it means you'll look forward to a bit more Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age coverage that will be coming your way in the near future!
